Safe Church
We believe it’s our sacred duty to protect the wellbeing of everyone in our care. In alignment with our diocese, Churches for the Sake of Others (C4SO), we are dedicated to providing an environment of safety, integrity, and compassion at Christ Our Peace.
Our Policies
We follow established diocesan policies for protecting children, youth, and adults. This includes mandatory background checks and safe ministry training for every volunteer. Our children's ministry policies are intentionally structured to limit risk and keep children safe. For more information on Christ Our Peace’s parish policies, please contact Darby Whealy or Megan Pettipoole.
Reporting Misconduct
Under the C4SO whistleblower policy, anyone experiencing harm, abuse, or harassment is encouraged to report it. This policy strictly protects whistleblowers against retaliation and further harassment. You can file a report locally by contacting Darby Whaley or Megan Pettipoole. Alternatively, if you prefer external support, please reach out to the C4SO Diocesan Safety, Response, and Care Team.
