Our Heart for COPA Kids!
Our hope is that every child who walks through our doors knows two things: God loves them and they belong.
At the core of everything we teach is this truth:
God is love.
Jesus is God’s love made visible.
Knowing Jesus’ love helps us love God and our neighbors.
A Welcoming Space for Young Learners
Our model is multi-age learning where kids can experience God’s big redemptive story through storytime, play, and hands-on collaborative activities.
Our lessons are designed for age 3-second grade students. Infants may remain with their parents during the service, or use the glassed-in room at the back of the worship space if they need room to wiggle!
And of course, children of all ages are welcome in the worship service! To aid in their participation, coloring materials, pages, and activity sheets are provided at the Hospitality Table.
Sunday Rhythm
Check-in for COPA Kids takes place downstairs, directly outside the classroom, before the service begins. At check-in, you can note any allergies or special needs. Leaders do not assist with diapering or bathroom use but will notify you if a need arises.
During the Passing of the Peace, parents or guardians are invited to pick up their child from the classroom and sit together for the rest of the service.
